'Morning After' CD Release Party
Morning After is an original song by singer-songwriter Denis Chaykowski. Many individuals were involved throughout the artistic process including music creation, recording to producing. Due to COVID-19, FBCTQ had to postpone the May CD release party to August 2021 at Orchard House. FBCTQ was so proud to feature 4 singers as our Special Guest performers for the CD release party. Special thanks to Orchard House, Tiana F. Make-A-Wish Christmas Fundraiser
FBCTQ hosted a Christmas Fundraiser as part of our SEASON 1 coffeehouse events in support of "Make-A-Wish Foundation' Vancouver, at Fresh Healthy Cafe in Penticton. Thank you Dawn/Glen one of our long-time show sponsors -supporters. Musical guests and performers included: BEAMER, Olivia Paige, Lauren, Danielle, Amber, Tiana & Katie (Cool Beanz) and Thurein! It was great to see the community together during the holidays supporting The Make-A-Wish fundraiser event towards a truly great cause.

Slackwater Brewing Live Performances
SEASON 8 winners Anika Ellis and JAY Porteous, as well as a few others, performed at Slackwater Brewing for the Fresh BC Talent Quest finals showcase in October 2020, as the original finals at Tugs Tap House in March 2019 was postponed due to COVID. Performers music was enjoyed by our judges, parents, guests, and staff. Anika & Jay have both grown immensely as performers and individuals over the years. The future looks great for both of our FBCTQ winners! Take a listen to Anika's live performance.
Back story: Anika was invited as guest performer during our 2020 finals intermission as she had previously completed both her semi & finals performances in advance of the finals date, since her family would be out of province for the scheduled date. Anika's talent (4) scores were sealed following her performance to be opened by the lead judge at the finals along with other competitors' semi-final scores in October.
Arts Rising Fundraiser
Fresh BC Talent Quest performed at the Arts Rising Fundraiser in support of the Penticton Arts Council. We had live performances (featuring Laura & Denis) at the Legion Branch #40 on Martin St and some other locations on the street. FBCTQ invited six of our singers in support of the Arts Rising event, providing live entertainment downtown. Pictured here is Kennedy S playing piano and vocals. There's nothing better than live music for a great cause!

Beach & Ice Cream
Summer Music Nights
Starting in 2018, FBCTQ hosted annual Penticton Summer Music Nights at the 'Beach Store' ice cream shop on the patio next to Salty's. These fun music evenings took place twice a week throughout the summer and showcased a diverse group of acts performing on the busy Penticton lakefront. Upon Beach Store sale, FBCTQ moved on to other locations. Thank you to Anna & Joe (owners) for your support of FBCTQ's young talent... loved your Blackberry yogourt!
Original Coffeehouse Series
We've been rockin' out at coffeehouse venues since SEASON 1! Fresh BC Talent Quest has hosted coffeehouse shows at HEALTHY FRESH Cafe, The Elite, Opus, Blenz Coffee, and Tugs Tap House during our ten season in one form or other. Tugs Tap House also provided venue for hosting FBCTQ semi-final shows, as well the [first ever] teen band competition. These events allowed many new and regular performers to showcase their talents as a duo up to four-five pcs. groups. Thanks Duane Jordan - Tugs Tap House (owner) Awesome supporter & sponsor of FBCTQ and local talent.
SEASON 4
In SEASON 4, Fresh BC Talent Quest hosted a talent show which included stand up comedy performed by Mitchell Lavigne Williams. It is always so refreshing to see new types of entertainment - we are here to support it all!
