Clearwater Music Festival
Where it all began... Clearwater Music Festival was an original idea announced back in 1997. After a meeting with Mr. T Wickman of the Edmonton Folk Festival and other BC festival contacts, C-Me decided to start small by promoting an annual 'mini-kids' festival. This event grew and became a success to promoting Clearwater as a festival destination. End game was to provide year-round community events. Starting at ground zero to the 2008 Clearwater Music Festival became a reality! Thank you to the support of the surrounding area communities, major festival sponsors, Clearwater local volunteers, and the dedication of Clearwater Festival Events Society members and C-Me Live Productions crew.
Great Canadian Music Explosion Festival
Founded in 2004, the Great Canadian Music Explosion was one of C-Me's most successful events that brought families and friends together for 3 days of live music in Clearwater during the BC Day long weekend. The festival line up featured Canadian performers of all ages and music genres. Festival activities included an on-site First Nations village with interactive games, traditional food, concessions, arts and craft booths, art tents, kids activities and even a kids performance stage! There was also musician 'jam' stages, music workshops, artists merchandise and CD booths. The Great Canadian Music Explosion family event offered activities for all ages, spectators and locals!
Arts, Health and Wellness Expo 2007 & 2008
C-Me Live coordinated the Arts, Health and Wellness Expo in January 2007 & 2008 at Clearwater Secondary School, built upon the three important components to sustaining a healthy lifestyle. This was the first ever health and wellness event of its kind in the North-Thompson Valley at CSS school. It sold out both years! Community support included local medical staff & personnel, RCMP, wellness groups, guest medical speakers, health services and more. As well, businesses and vendors located across North Thompson involving Kamloops, Barriere, Little Fort, 100 Mile, Clearwater, Vavenby, Blue River and Valemount communities.
Music At The Brook
C-Me founder Denis Chaykowski was the Brookfield Cafe Owner/Operator in Clearwater from 1993 to 1997. What started out as a Spring coffeehouse became a annual event featuring many local and out of town performers, with acts stopping in to play just based on word of mouth alone! Fast-forward 1 year, ‘Music at the Brook' was born which consisted of live music every Wednesday night on the out door patio. C-Me Live's first 'Music at the Brook' show had a dozen locals attending, which grew to over 250 weekly visitors at times and evolving into a parking lot 'festival' event!
Music at the Brook created many live performance opportunities for all ages, including: singers, poets, storytellers, instrumentalists, duos and comedians - the 'first of its kind' in the North Thompson/Kamloops area! Local acts booked well in advance to play and others stopped in on their way through BC and Alberta. Music at the Brook drew in local communities & visitors year-round to weekly shows!
Local support included hiring an awesome local baker (Sharon), as well as a local high school student (Shannon M), who both helped out to provide great desserts, coffee, refreshments, and outstanding service. Denis was also busy as show MC, performing with WHN & TOG, or helping out with closing. Guests always looked forward to the next week's show line up. Everyone involved in the 'Music at the Brook' provided the best four years of 'outdoor' music ever, all possible by fabulous local performers who donated their music & time, as well as overwhelming support from our local community, friends, businesses and visitors to Clearwater supporting our annual music events.
Clearwater Sunday Street Dance
The Sunday Street Dance in Clearwater was an extension of the Brookfield Cafe events during this busy time Musical performers donated their talents; some of the featured bands and solo acts included: Celine, Shane, Gerda F, Third Canyon and What's Her Name & The Other Guys (WHN & TOG). The support was overwhelming with local service groups and vendors (4H Club, Elks, Legion, Fire Department) helping to create a 'festive' community event full of support. A local senior mentioned that the Clearwater Family Sunday Street Dance was the first of its kind in over 30+ years! What a compliment!
Clearwater Foodbank Family Christmas Concert
The Clearwater Food Bank Christmas Concert had its first show in 1993 at the Brookfield Cafe, raising $150 for the Food Bank. To see families and musical friends come together singing Christmas songs was amazing! C-Me hosted this event at the Brook Cafe until 1997, each year getting so packed even Santa couldn’t find a place to sit! After the cafe sold, the Christmas Food Bank Concert moved to other venues: Elks Hall, Trophy Mountain Pizza, Flour Meadow Bakery and finally to Wells Gray Hotel up to C-Me Live Production's last Food Bank concert in 2013.
It is estimated that up to $70K+ had been raised during C-Me Live Production's Christmas Food Bank community concerts over the course of 20 years. Time flew by but the memories are forever.
This event was made possible with the support of Clearwater, Little Fort, Vavenby, Kamloops, and Penticton performers, as well as our neighbouring communities, all helping everyone celebrate their Christmas. "Friends are the Greatest Gift of All'

Annual West Bench Father's Day Garage Sale
C-Me Live Productions also organizes the annual West Bench (WB) Father’s Day Weekend Yard Sale, which has been a yearly Saturday event since 2014. It involves three West Bench main subdivisions and homes which numbers are growing yearly. The WB Yard sale event draws in 1000's of ‘yard sale enthusiasts’ from around the Okanagan area (even Kamloops and Vancouver), all looking for those 'special' bargains, negotiating with sellers, and finding that 'one of a kind' treasure item! The event was cancelled due to COVID for 2020 & 2021. The 9th Annual 2022 West Bench Yard Sale will take place on Saturday, June 18th! See you than!
